hi i'm keith -  takei132@aol.com

... found out some neat stuff - did you know army doctors used super glue in vietnam war to close wounds instantly? it works!

+ and you can make a diy (do it yourself) co 2 (electrical, oil, wood) fire extinguisher with baking soda, vinegar, water, soda bottle, saran wrap, small stone, push pin + tape ? how about using an onion ring border to fry an egg in for your own veg mcmuffins ?

' Nowadays, professional athletes often close small cuts with Super Glue or similar products to get back in the game in a hurry. The glues are also used by veterinarians, and many people keep a tube around the house to help them out of a medical pinch. It is believed that the glues — made from the chemical cyanoacrylate — not only stop bleeding quickly, but also lead to less scarring. '

' Although the packaging on Elmer’s Products’ Krazy Glue specifically warns against contact with skin, an increasing number of dermatologists, nevertheless, are recommending the glue for patients suffering from small lacerations, such as paper cuts, or even more serious skin splits resulting from chapping or eczema. '

I am sorry I didnt mean to call it a halfway house, this person needs a treatment center in-house, the detox center calls it a holding halfway house or step down unit.

Nick the person needs a treatment facility rehab and has private insurance and we can't find a bed for this person so far and the detox program isn't helping us much so we have to find them a bed that accepts their insurance or they will come out of detox with no where to go

I was in detox spoke with my case worker in there and they got me into hope center in Springfield once I was there I put in for hope house in Boston I was in hope center for 30 days and thats the max stay so I was sent to another holding in Holyoke called arbor house where I was for another month until a bed opened for me at hope house...after i completed hope I went into a sober house that I now manage, its a long process some ppl wait 3 months to get a bed but if someones truly ready they will wait and its worth every second it was the best decision ive ever made

" That was until she was diagnosed with leukemia in mid-2013, and the self-employed businesswoman made a startling discovery: Her health plan didn't cover the chemotherapy she needed. "I thought I was going to die," Gray, 62, said recently, recalling her desperate scramble to get lifesaving drugs.

Through a mix of temporary measures, doctors and patient advocates managed to keep Gray stable for a few months.

But it was a new health plan through the Affordable Care Act that Gray credits with saving her life. The plan, which started Jan. 1, 2014, gave her access to the recommended chemotherapy. Her cancer went into remission in the fall."

Detox, transitions, halfway house, sober house. It's not a short process. If the kid wants to get sober and stay sober I suggest sectioning them, they'll go to WATC or MATC in New Bedford and the case managers will place you in a halfway house or a transitions while you wait for a house. That's the way I did it. Boston is the place to get sober

Sectioning is the route to go..i must say the people at WATC saved my life& if it wasn't for my mother sectioning me I prolly wouldn't be here..it is a long progress, but if it's something you want then you'll hang on and take the ride  tons of amazing people in Boston that love recovery
